We endeavor to display color as accurately as possible but, due to monitor variations, your monitor may display the yarns differently than they appear in real life. We also attempt to display the yarns in the bases listed as often as possible. However, we source most of our photographs from our vendors, and since every color is not listed in every base the color may be represented on a base different from the one you are purchasing. Please email or call us if you have ANY questions about the yarn base and color prior to purchase! Your happiness is our every desire!

Each approximately 4 oz skein contains about 420 (384 Meters) yards of richly dyed sock joy. Of course, this yarn also makes lovely hats, cowls, shawls, and sweaters.

Fiber content is 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon for strength and durability.

Gauge is 7-8 stitches to the inch on US 1-3 needles; your mileage may vary.

Hand wash, cold or Machine wash, gentle, Dry flat

A Yarn Shop of Which Dreams are Made!

I discovered The Sated Sheep during a yarn crawl last fall. (It is now one of my favorite LYSes of all time.) The folks at the shop are wonderful, and the yarn is out of this world! Since I don't live in the Austin area, I ordered the yarn online. (Huge kuddos for having a REAL online store, not just showing one or two yarns! The Sated Sheep made the whole selection and ordering process very easy.) The Djinni Sock yarn I bought is fabulous! It is soft, bouncy, and the color is dreamy. I can't wait for the yarn to tell me what it needs to become...
