Join us with Veronica Van from Dream in Color Yarns for An Assigned Pooling workshop!
Veronica's coming from Tucson , Aritizona, to talk about what exactly assigned pooling is, and most importantly, how you can use it to create a fabric appropirate to any basic knitting pattern.
She'll go throuh a bunch of applied pooling stitches with you, and talk about what you need to do to adapt, based on garments that are knit flat and in the round. She'll also explain how you deal with increases and decreases, and with patterns that use stripes and other yarns like mohair. There will be patterns and yarns and sips and chats, and it's always a fun afternoon when we get the privilege of a visit from this special dyer! Did we say there will be yarn?
Your ticket includes a beverage, and you may want to bring a snack or puchase one next door- when we know what you want, we'll take care of actually retrieving it for you, so you can stay focused on the class!
BRING a skein of yarn in an assigned pooling color (wound before class, please), needles appropriate to it's gauge, and a sense of humor!
Like someone gifted with perfect pitch, Veronica’s talent lies in her ability to see any color in any form and know how to mix to that exact hue!
