Knitting was the beginning of Claudia’s craft career. Always on the lookout for the right materials, patterns, and above all, colors, for her designs. She quickly came up against the limits of the color palettes customary in the trade at the time. So she dyed her own wool – and a new world opened up for her. Blend is 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Cashmere and 10% Polyamid for wear.
It has amazing softness and drape and knits up at a perfect sport weight gauge on US 3 needles. Gentle machine wash or hand wash, cold either way, and lay flat to dry.

Because of mixing of cashmere, merino superwash and polyamide, some semi-solid colour-ways have turned out rather more “mixed” than usual. In case several skeins of one colour are to be knitted together then a regular exchange of skeins should be aimed for. For technical reasons, with this quality, 2 knots per skein can occur. This still falls within our quality standards.
