Hi, I’m Patti Johnson — proud shepherd of stitches and smiles at The Sated Sheep. I’ve been knitting for seven cozy, creative years, with a little crochet and Tunisian crochet sprinkled in for extra fun and flair. Nothing makes me happier than filling The Sheep with laughter, colorful yarn, and the simple joy of making something beautiful with your own two hands. Come wander in, say “hi,” and soak up the fiber-filled happiness at our new home on charming Historic Mercer Street in the heart of Dripping Springs — where the yarn is soft, the welcome is warm, and the smiles are always handmade.
My vision is simple: to honor the legacy Allison created while adding our own spark of whimsy, friendship, and community. I believe yarn is more than fiber—it’s connection, comfort, and joy, one stitch at a time. Whether you’re stopping by for your very first skein or you’ve been part of The Sated Sheep family since the beginning, I am thrilled to welcome you.
